Ask yourself such questions, and if you are not enjoying what you are doing, then for sure you have not found your purpose in life yet. So, I would suggest you explore yourself and find out what you love to do.

Stay with positive people.

What will you prefer? To stay with a person who complains about everything all day or with someone who ignores everything and stay focused in life? Obviously, later one.
Here my point is, our behavior reflects the company we stay in. Even if we try not to get impacted by others’ behavior, subconsciously our minds would react in that way. It is hard to find purpose in life when you are surrounded by negative or toxic people.
On the other hand, when you are surrounded by people who have a purpose in life and stay motivated. Not only they will have a positive impact on you, but they will also inspire you to do better in life all the time.

Explore what attracts you.

Are you fond of sketching? Do you like reading poetry? What places do you love to visit the most? Your purpose in life is hidden in your regular activities. Consider every task you do, and notice what attracts you the most. Follow this tip, and it will help you to find purpose in life.

Imagine yourself as the best.

Close your eyes and imagine yourself in the future and write down answers to the few questions:

  • What are you doing?
  • What do you care about the most?
  • Are you satisfied with the thing you are doing now for your future self?

Answering these questions now for your future self will bring you close find a purpose.

(Also, note down the things that you always wanted to do but could not do it. It is the time to explore it now.)

Help others.

Helping others does not mean only in monetary terms. You can help someone even if you don’t have money. It can be listening to others when they feel down or stressed, or be a volunteer in any NGO, cook something and distribute it. I like to counsel people. It actually makes me feel more connected to the world. In the same way, you can also find something that will make sense for you.

Listen to what others have to say about you.

Many times in life, I have met people who suggested to me many things that they think I should do, and I considered what they all said, and it helped me to find my passion in life.
We all have different opinions from one another, and listening to what other people have to say about you will help you amazingly to find a purpose in life. Sometimes we fail to notice things that other notice in us in just a single meeting. So there is a good chance that other people may help you in finding your passion and purpose in life.

Meet new people.

I have met so many people in my life and talked about what they do for a living, what they like to do. It gained my knowledge remarkably in a different field. Imagine you have just cleared your high school and you don’t know what options do you have after high school so there are higher chances that you will apply for something that your family would ask you to do or what your friends are doing.

On the other hand, if you have knowledge about the different fields and also you have explored yourself, there are higher chances that you will be able to find your purpose in life.

Reading is the best self-improvement act that one can do, it not only motivates us but also take our thinking level to the next level which helps in developing our personality and live a meaningful life.
