Some parents find it bad that their children concentrate more on sports than on studies. Apart from this, the physical and mental health of children gets better through sports, so that they can get good marks even after studying in less time. It is better to learn by doing than by ‘reading’ 

Although some schools of today are paying attention to this, even now in many schools, children are taught only bookish knowledge. Teach them to relax and stay happy

To this day I have seen parents teaching their children how to read, but not teaching them how to relax and be happy. All the research shows that most of the children who are victims of stress, depression, etc. at a young age are due to their own families. Hence, inspire them to stay happy and relaxed by listening to music, read stories, play outdoor games, and socialize with people. 

Support their hobby 

If your child is a little behind in studies but his mind seems to be on some other activity which he wants to make his hobby, then you should support him. In today’s time, people can get more success by following their hobbies than the success they get on the strength of academics. New career options are opening up fast, such as Singing, Dancing, Painting, Acting, Poetry, Writing, Sports, Cricket, Athletics, etc. If the child wants to follow his passion, then you should also support them.
