Why am I always tired: We all feel fatigued from time to time. The reasons are usually clear and include long hours spent at work or having a baby that keeps you up all night. Night shifts
Night working hours often feel fatigue more easily. This is more likely to happen if the timing of the shifts keeps on rotating.
Daytime naps
If you’re tired, you may sleep during the day, which may make it more challenging to get a good night’s sleep and it will make you wake up tired.
Anxiety
If you have steady unmanageable feelings of anxiety, then there are higher chances that you may have a generalized anxiety disorder. Along with this, people also feel worried and irritable, people with generalized anxiety disorder usually feel tired.
Iron deficiency

Fatigue can also be the result of:
- pregnancy
- being overweight or underweight
- poor muscles strength
- cancer treatments like chemotherapy or radiotherapy
- side effects of medications
