How to overcome social anxiety disorder: Social anxiety activities are the activities you can follow to challenge your anxiety. While you may not be able to reverse the reasons for social anxiety, which can include temperament, family history, genetics, and negative experience, you can develop new coping strategies that can help you manage your symptoms.
People with a social anxiety disorder may encounter problems in all areas of their lives. They have a problem making friends and keeping friendships, discovering life partners, finding work and building a career, and even getting through the everyday aspects of daily life.
But many things can be done through self-help to overcome social anxiety.
Keep a journal
Keep a regular journal so that you can see how much you have enhanced or improved. Writing your experiences will also help you identify when you are falling back into old habits and pessimistic thinking patterns.
Improve your health
Do everything in your ability to confirm that poor physical health is not adding to your problems with anxiety. Follow a regular exercise routine and eat a healthy, balanced diet. Try staying away from alcohol. If you do not exercise regularly, start planning a schedule for yourself today. Exercise not only reduces anxiety but if done with other people then it offers the chance to build up your social skills in a relatively non-threatening environment.

Compliment yourself
You might not be a confident public speaker, but there are a lot of things in your life for which you can feel proud. Identify that you face more challenges than others and that you should feel good about the small achievements in your life. Build on small accomplishments and you will feel better about yourself gradually.
Cherish alone time
Some people with social anxiety disorder are also born introverts; this means that they recharge themselves emotionally by spending time alone rather than in the company of others. Staying alone to gather your thoughts is a healthy choice.
Do not try to be perfect
Anxity and perfectionism often go hand in hand. Everything that you say and do not need to be perfect. Be imperfect and take chances for a day.
Take a vacation
As simple as it sounds, sometimes we all just need a change of view. If you feel stuck in a socially anxious mindset, try taking off for a weekend to a new place, even if it is a solo trip. Soak up some of the local cultures, and engage yourself at a different speed.
Read a Book
Choose either a social anxiety tip or a self-help book. Read anything you can about social anxiety and how to improve it. Read real stories about other people who have been there in the same place as you. Read books on motivation. Educating yourself will never harm you, and it might give you the inspiration that you need to make modifications in your life.
